Reality TV Blows Big Time.

No where in the world is such intolerance for human rights accepted; Fundamentalist Muslim communities have more tolerance than these shows, and we’re bombing those people.  So I ask you, why do we watch these shows?  I know the fad is finally passing, sort of like the game show fad and such, but these stupid shows were the biggest thing for about 2 years.  I’ve personally watched one episode of only one of the shows; I watched the last episode of Survivor.  I think I would’ve rather had my teeth brushed with tin foil and then rinse my mouth out with cancerous bile than watch that show again.

After watching some of the “challenges” that these people did I questioned whether I would do them if I were trapped on a desert island.  I mean these people walked around in a circle around a pole having to keep their hands on it, simply retarded.  If I get caught on a desert island I’m keeping my energy exertion to a minimal, I mean that’s if I want to survive, but if I were on this show, I’d like to die, so I’d be doing all kinds of pole dancing, just for the ladies.  I think it’s interesting how these people can build such an ornate council area, yet they couldn’t build a ship that would send them home.  Plus, they had a fat Hawaiian guy they could have used as a raft if they were actually trapped.  I think if they were all actually slowly dieing they would kill the nicely dressed, heavily fed host and eat him as opposed to the rats.  I suppose this is why I wasn’t put on the show…

But survivor isn’t the worst of these shows, surprisingly.  I think the reality dating shows are the worst.  Temptation Island, Meet the Folks (or whatever the hell it is), the Bachelor, That Show on my favorite channel MTV where they choose between 2 dates, etc.  In these shows we treat people like rating ploys, though no one should ever watch these, they do.  Maybe I’m just jealous of these people’s success since our site has about 8 people that like it.  That’s not the point, these shows treat people like they’re disposable, and I know what you’re thinking, “Grow some nuts you feminist bastard!” Well just know that I think feminism is the worst thing to hit America since the Depression, but that’s another editorial.

Then there are the "reality" shows that invade everyone else’s privacy.  Big Brother comes to mind, though more people come to our site than watches that show.  I think the only reality about those shows is the camera in the shower that’s oh so frequently placed in college showers, or at least I keep getting emails based on that.  Pretty much all of these stupid ass shows involve kicking someone off in one way or another, why?  Why is that so damn cool?  And then the people on these shows are just dumb enough to join up with each other and vote off the others, I mean there’s absolutely NO way that one of those people is going to stab the other in the back.

And finally, all of this leads to one question, it’s called reality TV, how real could you be with cameras on you all day?  I’ve seen some of the smartest people in the world act like total idiots when a camera lens spots them, they wave, shout, jump around, and even flip off the camera, I suppose that makes them tough…  So these people are being malicious Wang faces just because cameras are recording, such a “real” experience.  I hope their horrible experiences haunt them for the rest of their lives on Hollywood Squares.
